We moved from Ireland in 2001 with our four children to spend a year in Sitges, but we ended up staying sixteen. After many years in hospitality, in 2017 we moved to the Priorat and found Cal Maleno, the village’s former dairy and butcher shop, which we renovated and transformed into an aparthotel.

Welcome to Priorat Boutique Aparthotel

We opened our doors on December 24th, 2021 with the idea of offering a “home away from home” experience. The building, once the village’s dairy and butcher shop, keeps its original name, Cal Maleno, as a tribute to its history.

We have five studios and a penthouse, each dedicated to an artist, and the aparthotel showcases our art collection featuring works by Irish and Spanish creators. We also share a selection of our books.

All apartments include a Smart TV, Wi-Fi, and are equipped with Bassols 1790 bed linen. We offer a warm atmosphere and personalised service, helping our guests with recommendations and reservations.

Cleaning and linen change (towels and bed sheets) are carried out every 3 days.

If you would like additional cleaning, please let us know. The cost is €10 per day for apartment cleaning, €10 for towels, and €10 for a bed sheet change.

If you need parking, there is a free public car park nearby.

The Euterpe car park is 160 m from the property. You can reach it on foot in 2 minutes through the pedestrian area.
